Iran's canyon of wonders in Hormozgan

Shotariko canyon in Iranian province of Hormozgan embodies strange boulders naturally arranged in a winding trail.

The canyon is located near a village in the southern province of Hormozgan with tourists sharing a common feeling mixed with fear and surprise after visiting this spectacular spot.

Light-colored mountains with rough appearances and severe erosion are likely to be the reason for the scary feelings tourists experience there.

It is interesting to know that you have to go through a cave before entering the gorge. There is no light inside the cave and it is so dark that really nothing can be seen.

But when you pass this cave, the unique view of the canyon is out of this world with springs and rivers whose color is blue-green.
